A dog that is well socialized and trained will grow up relaxed and confident in the presence of other dogs, and will be trustworthy and friendly to people.
A friendly dog is less likely to be apprehensive or aggressive, and less inclined to fight or bite.
Positive experiences in early puppy-hood decrease the
possibility that a dog will be nervous and fearful later in life.
Socializing combined with training will strengthen the human-animal bond, and allow the family to grow closer together.

The Importance of Obedience Training
Everyone wants to have a well-rounded, happy dog.
Unfortunately, far too many dogs end up in humane societies because of lack of socialization and training.
All dogs would benefit from some kind of socialization and training, learning good manners to live in today's society.
Training gives owners the upper hand to
help puppies grow into happy and healthy companions.
People are not born with the knowledge of how to work and communicate with dogs.
A trainer is familiar with normal dog behavior and can help owners see the
underlying reason for the dog's misbehavior. Many misbehaviors to owners are considered as 'normal' dog behavior.
A good trainer works with the owner to resolve these
behaviors by coming up with positive solutions.
During a training session the owner will learn to be in charge as leader of the family, how to read body language of dogs and how to motivate their dogs. The
dog will learn how to behave in different situations and begin looking to the owner for leadership and guidance, as well.
